Are you creating an experience for your customer?

Q for you:

When’s the last time you thought about your brand experience?

In other words, how your customers FEEL when they interact with your business.

You can have the most amazing logo, beautiful brand colors, and all the social media templates in the world... But if your brand doesn’t provide a memorable experience, you’ll lose.

We love brands that make us FEEL something. Brands that go out of their way to create a user experience that makes us feel seen, cared for, empowered, encouraged, and “wowed”.

Take Peloton, for example, a brand that many have fallen in l-o-v-e with last year (including myself).

As a business, Peloton sells at-home exercise equipment. But as a brand, Peloton has created a strong brand voice. Their brand personality is SO empowering, uplifting, and encouraging that it completely sets them apart from their competition. In short, they have a brand that you can FEEL.

Every time I interact with their brand, whether I’m just throwing on my Peloton hat to hide my bedhead or jumping on our treadmill for a quick workout, like magic, I stand a bit taller, get a boost of confidence, and feel a little extra pep in my step.

But it’s not magic, friend. Not at all.

Like all the brands that you love most, Peloton has carefully crafted a unique brand experience. They have infused their brand’s message into every single thread of their business -- from their content to their products to their instructors -- and you can 1000% feel the difference!

And that feeling -- that connection -- is WAY more powerful than any logo, website, color palette, or carefully curated social media feed.

(Not to mention, it makes Peloton a lottttt of zeroes!)

So, next Q for you…

Is your brand providing a Peloton-level experience?

Think about what a customer experiences when they come in contact with your business. Does your brand positioning make THAT kind of impact? Are you building a community where your customer feels interested and engaged?

If you want to build a “feel the difference” kind of brand, you need a clear brand vision and strategy. You need to know your:

  • Purpose and why

  • Brand story and message

  • Ideal audience and offerings

  • Skills and expertise

  • Unique X-factor

  • Branding goals

These are the key pillars of a strong and successful BRAND.

One that infuses heart, purpose, and meaning into every touchpoint, from the smallest detail to sharing great brand stories their audience can’t get enough of.

It can take time to get clear on your vision and to craft a brand experience that truly wows your audience, but the outcome is worth every ounce of effort. Guaranteed.

Take action…

Does your brand make people yawn?
